Emma
Owner & Senior Stylist
Emma opened Avenue 23 in 2015 with a vision of being a cutting edge and trendy salon in Torphins. Emma enjoys all aspects of hairdressing with colouring being her passion. Emma also works as a Key Educator for Global colour house Matrix where she works along side some of the best hairdressers in the industry. She is also a qualified assessor.
Laura
Manager/Tanning Expert
Laura joined us in 2023 as Emma’s right hand woman dealing with managerial roles/admin in both salons after a brief time off to have her baby. Laura is a beauty therapist by trade and has worked and managed spas, beauty counters and salons with over 15 year’s experience. Laura loves spray tanning and is your go to for a golden glow.
Lisa
Beauty Therapist
Lisa joined Avenue 23 at the very beginning, she is self employed within the Avenue 23 team. Lisa covers all aspect of beauty with her passion being waxing. She is trained in many popular treatments including lycon waxing and LVL lashes.
Jenn
Senior Stylist
Jenn, along with Lisa has been a member of Avenue 23 team since day one. Jenn has over 15 years experience and works within Avenue 23 on a self employed basis. Jenn covers all aspect in the hair department with hair ups being one of her many strengths.
Ashley
Stylist
Ashley came to hairdressing a little later. Originally she was a nurse on the Anchor ward in ARI, but fancied a change of career so joined Avenue 23 after completing her training elsewhere. Ashley works on self employed basis. She covers all hairdressing with colouring being her passion.
Eilidh
Stylist
Eilidh joined Avenue 23 after spending a week doing work experience from school. Eilidh studied to SVQ level 3 within salon and day release and is now a fully qualified stylist. Eilidh enjoys all aspects of hairdressing and working as a team. Eilidh's natural ability in hair made her stand out from the rest.
Elaine
Senior Stylist
Elaine joined Avenue 23 after working in high end salons in Aberdeen and Westhill. She has been hairdressing for over 15 years with cutting and curly hair being her favourite.
Shannon
Future Talent
Shannon joined the team as a Saturday girl after school and has progressed to full time within the salon and is our one to watch. Having trained to a level 2 within salon she is continuing her training to achieve SVQ level 3. She is also a vital member of the team helping with the day to day running of the salon.
Ashleigh
Stylist
Ashleigh is a self employed stylist at Avenue 23. Ashleigh covers all aspects of hairdressing with bridal/hair up and colouring being her passion. She has fitted in to the team perfectly with her friendly, bubbly personality.
Louise
Future Talent
Louise joined the team in summer 2022 is currently completing in salon training, working towards her SVQ level 3. Along with Shannon, Louise is a vital member of the team and running of the salon day to day. Louise is one to watch, with her natural ability and passion.
